It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

For many people, December is the best time of the year! Kids, especially, seem to love this festive season. So I thought I’d ask kids what it is exactly that makes them look forward to this time. Here’s what they had to say.

“I like that we do family things and get cake and all kinds of things.” — Aiden, age 6

“Celebrating Jesus’ birthday, waking up late, and opening presents.” — Sophia, age 10

“Christmas music and decorations.” — JohnDavid, age 5

“Volleyball Club season starts …and my birthday.” — Titus, age 13

“Christmas! Jesus’ birthday! Also presents. And we get to bake cookies for Santa!” — Kaiden, age 6

“I can’t wait for all the pretty Christmas lights outside and decorating the tree inside. It looks so beautiful.” — Mia, age 6

“My half birthday because that means in 6 more months I will be another year old.” — Tori, age 12

“Going to Grandma and Papa’s house.” — Cooper, age 10

“The weather because I love the cold, and I have some really cute winter clothes.” — Michaela, age 14

“Christmas break (from school), cooler weather, family visits, giving and getting presents, getting a tree and decorating, then New Year’s Eve.” — Tyler, age 14

“Sending shoeboxes to the kids.” — Cade, age 9

“Riding around Christmas Eve in our pajamas, looking at the lights.” — Austen, age 12, and Sarah, age 10

“Santa. Oh and I know Santa is really Grandma.” — Natalie, age 7

“Jesus coming out of Mary’s belly and saving us all.” — Michael, age 6

“I want to know how old Jesus will be on His next birthday.” — Adelyn, age 4
